I'm “Freedom”!

France Modern (trois fleurs-de-lis)
You are 'French'. In the nineteenth century, it
was the international language of diplomacy.
It is a 'beautiful' language, meaning that it
is really just a low-fidelity copy of Latin.

You know the importance of communicating
'diplomatically', which for you means both
being polite and friendly when necessary and
using sophisticated, vicious sarcasm when
appropriate. Your life is guided by either
existentialism or nihilism, depending on the
weather. You have a certain appreciation for
the finer things in life, which is a diplomatic
way of saying that you are a disgusting
hedonist. Your problem is that French has been
obsolete for a long time.

What obsolete skill are you?

I am "programming in QBASIC". Delightful. :P

is that short for Queer BASIC? :)

Actually, it was just senseless banter.

Lighten'up, Francis.

My sense of humor is intact. Yours? :)

It really shows, blowtorch.

Aaaaaaaand, we're off!

I really like you guys...

Ew. (and that's shorthand for something, James)

You may be struggling with your sense of humor, but sometimes you actually are funny...

French? Never saw that coming.

Gordon showing up here and taking potshots without contributing anything substantive? Never saw that coming.

And no, Gordon, it's "Freedom". Remember when it was sooooo important to the Conservatives (and weak-ass demos) in congress to pitch a hissy fit at the French? Important work, I know.

I'm Short Hand. Among other things, it says that I don't pretend to like 'just anyone'. That's WAY off. I pretend I like everyone...

Seems I struck a nerve.

Tee hee. I'm Latin. I kind of liked that one. :)

That's surely what you intended, huh, Gordo?

I got the same as you, Jeff.
